How to Get Here
Waruka Bay is situated on the South Western side of Qamea, in the North Eastern islands of Fiji. The nearest airport is Matei Airport in Taveuni.
Most tourists will stay on the main island of Fiji due to convenience, however if you want to see the pristine white beaches and sparkling turquoise waters an extra flight or boat ride to the outer islands is essential.
Airport Transfers From Taveuni Airport to Waruka Bay Resort can be arranged by management upon confirmation of your arrival time in Taveuni. Transfers consist of a 20 minute taxi ride from the airport, followed by a 20 minute boat ride to your accommodation. Transfer costs are variable depending on the amount of people in your group.
Fiji Airways & Northern Air run flights to Taveuni from both Nadi & Suva. These are 16 seater planes so there is limited availability, to ensure you get your flights at a good price, try to book these well in advance. Flights out of Suva can be considerably cheaper, so for those coming from nearby South Pacific countries its also worth looking into flying directly into Suva where possible.

Suva - Taveuni approx 50 mins
These flights can rise sharply in price closer to the date of departure, so it's better to purchase well in advance.
